Gourmet WW Bread Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of WW Bread (Weight Watchers Bread)
  • 1 chicken breast
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • Parkay spray (or any cooking spray)
  • Sharp Cheddar Velveeta cheese slices

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear the seasoned chicken breast until it’s cooked through and golden brown on both sides. Set aside.
  2. Sauté the Onions:
    • In the same skillet, add thinly sliced onions.
    • Sauté the onions until they are soft and caramelized, adding a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Bread:
    • Place the WW bread slices on a clean surface.
    • Lightly spray one side of each bread slice with Parkay spray or any cooking spray.
  4. Assemble the Sandwich:
    • On one slice of bread, place the cooked chicken breast.
    • Top the chicken with the sautéed onions.
    • Lay a slice of Sharp Cheddar Velveeta cheese on top of the onions.
    • Place the second bread slice on top to form a sandwich.
  5. Final Touches:
    • Lightly spray the top of the sandwich with Parkay spray for added crispiness.
  6. Serve:
