Instructions:

  1. Selecting the Chicken: Start by choosing a fresh, high-quality chicken. Look for one with firm flesh and smooth skin.
  2. Preparing the Chicken: Begin by patting the chicken dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Then, massage the chicken with olive oil to seal in moisture and enhance the flavor of the spices.
  3. Seasoning the Chicken: In a small bowl, mix together the dry spices, including garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  4. Applying the Seasoning: After preparing the spice blend, evenly sprinkle it over the surface of the chicken, ensuring that every part is coated with the flavorful mixture.
  5. Cooking the Chicken: Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C). Then, place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 30 minutes. Afterward, flip the chicken over and roast for an additional 30 minutes.
