Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ½ lb cottage cheese (1 cup)
- ½ cup butter (1 stick)
- 1 package spaghetti (16 oz)
- Grated cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook spaghetti noodles until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
- Brown the ground beef, drain, and mix with spaghetti sauce.
- Place a few slices of butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish, then layer half of the cooked spaghetti noodles on top.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the noodles.
- Layer the remaining spaghetti noodles on top of the cream cheese mixture and add more butter slices.
- Pour the spaghetti and meat sauce over the noodles.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, sprinkle desired amount of grated cheese over the casserole and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
- Serve hot. Serves 10.
