Tender Chicken Delight
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts (approximately 1 lb. or 450g)
- 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 tsp seasoning salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Slice each chicken breast into three equal pieces.
- Marinate: Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and refrigerate overnight to marinate.
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Coating: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), half of the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Arrange Chicken: Evenly distribute the marinated chicken pieces in a baking dish.
- Coat Chicken: Spread the mayonnaise mixture over each piece of chicken, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
- Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top of the coated chicken breasts.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately to your eagerly awaiting guests or family members.
