Succulent Slow-Cooked Barbecue Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of your preferred Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, freshly minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 4 to 5 pounds baby back ribs

Instructions:

FIRST STEP: Preparing the Marinade

  1. In a ziplock bag, pour in the Barbecue Sauce.
  2. Add brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne if desired.

SECOND STEP: Marinating the Ribs

  1. Zip the bag closed and knead it with your hands, ensuring thorough mixing of the sauce ingredients.
  2. Open the bag and place the ribs inside.

THIRD STEP: Coating the Ribs

  1. Close the bag and shake it to coat the ribs completely.
  2. Spray the inside of the crockpot.

FOURTH STEP: Setting Up the Crockpot

  1. Open the bag and place the coated ribs into the crockpot.
  2. Pour ¾ of the sauce from the bag into the crockpot, ensuring the ribs are well-covered.

FIFTH STEP: Slow-Cooking

  1. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours for fall-off-the-bone tenderness or on low for 9 hours for an equally succulent result.
  2. If you prefer the meat soft but still on the bone, cook on low for 7 hours for that perfect fall-off-the-bone texture.

SIXTH STEP: Serving

  1. Have some of the sauce available on the table, allowing each person to customize their serving.
  2. Enjoy this delectable dish with your favorite people! ❤️
