Succulent Garlic Butter Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 medium-sized heritage breed pork chops
- 2 tablespoons grass-fed butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 sprigs thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper to your liking.
- In a microwave or small saucepan, melt the butter. Adjust quantity to preference.
- Mix the minced garlic and thyme into the melted butter, stirring well. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops and sear for approximately 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the pork chops, ensuring even coverage.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake the pork chops until the internal temperature reaches 145 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven and spoon any remaining butter sauce over the pork chops.
