SPONGE BRIOCHES

Ingredients:

  • 300 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 100g fresh yeast
  • 5 ml vegetable oil
  • 50g flour
  • 5g melted butter
  • Salt
  • Sesame seeds
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation:

  1. Pour milk, oil, eggs, egg white, yeast, and sugar into the mixing bowl. Mix well. Gradually add flour and salt. Knead the dough. Oil the dough and let it rest for 3 hours.
  2. Roll out the dough and cover it with melted butter. Roll the dough into a log and cut it with a dough cutter.
  3. Place the brioches on a baking sheet and let them rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Coat with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Bake at 400°F/200°C for 20 minutes.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
