Soft Bread Rolls/Buns Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • Warm water

Instructions:

Step 1:

Sift the flour into a large bowl.

Add the dry ingredients (sugar, salt, yeast) and mix well.

Create a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the vegetable oil.

Mix until the texture resembles crumbs.

Step 2:

Gradually add 2 cups of warm water to the flour mixture.

Knead the dough until it reaches a medium consistency, neither too hard nor too soft.

Continue kneading until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.

Step 3:

Allow the dough to proof for 30 minutes.

Grease a baking pan with butter or oil.

Shape the dough into small round balls and place them on the baking tray or loaf tin.

Step 4:

Let the dough proof for an additional 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Once the oven is hot, place the baking pan inside.

Bake until the rolls are golden brown.

Step 5:

Remove from the oven and enjoy your freshly baked soft bread rolls.
