Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites
Ingredients
- 1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
Directions
- Arrange the sliced kielbasa in your slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped apples, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the apple mixture over the kielbasa in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the finely chopped onion on top of the apple and kielbasa mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the kielbasa is well-glazed.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
