Ingredients

White Layer:

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can heavy cream
  • 1 envelope unflavored powdered gelatin
  • 1 cup water

Colored Layer:

  • 1 packet strawberry gelatin (or flavor of your choice)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup cold water

Directions

White Layer:

  1. Dissolve the envelope of unflavored powdered gelatin in 1 cup of hot water, following the package instructions.
  2. In a blender, combine the heavy cream, condensed milk, and the dissolved gelatin. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish or individual serving bowls. Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until the layer is firm.

Colored Layer:

  1. Dissolve the packet of strawberry gelatin in 1 cup of hot water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix well. Allow the gelatin mixture to cool slightly.
  3. Gently pour the cooled gelatin mixture over the firm white layer.
  4. Refrigerate for another 2 hours, or until the colored layer is completely set.
