Savory Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak
Ingredients:
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 white onion, thinly sliced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 2 pounds of sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- ⅔ cup hot water
- 1 cube beef bouillon
- 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat Olive oil in a skillet. Sauté the steak until browned on each side.
- Dissolve bouillon in hot water and pour into the crockpot. Whisk in cornstarch.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, Soy Sauce, and brown sugar to the crockpot. Include diced tomatoes, salt, and
pepper. Stir in beef and onions. - Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 hours.
- Add sliced peppers and cook for an additional hour. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions.
- Serve with a side of rice and a dinner salad.
