Savory Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs
Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- Approximately 450 grams (about 2 cups) of cottage cheese
- 1 cup (about 100 grams) of grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup flour (about 30 grams)
- 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) melted butter
- 1 teaspoon (about 5 milliliters) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 milliliters) salt
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Optional: red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175℃). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs until well combined. Add the cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, flour, melted butter, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the chopped green onions.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and, if desired, red pepper flakes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
