Quick and Easy Peanut Butter Microwave Fudge Delight
Embarking on the delightful journey of crafting sweets, I previously reveled in creating cookies and cream fudge and Nutella fudge. Today, I present my venture into the realm of peanut butter fudge.
My experimentation took an unexpected turn when I stumbled upon a brilliantly simple recipe by Alton Brown. With only four ingredients and the absence of chocolate, this fudge stands out from the crowd.
While the fudge requires a few hours to cool before reaching its peak deliciousness, the actual preparation demands less than 10 minutes and entails no baking or intense mental effort. It’s a remarkably easy and delectable treat!
Technically speaking, this creation might not qualify as traditional fudge due to the absence of milk. However, its appearance, texture, and flavor are indistinguishable from classic fudge. It’s essentially fudge, though I acknowledge there might be a few purists who could contest that claim. Regardless, let’s dive into the recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb box Confectioners sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup peanut butter
Directions:
- Place sugar, butter, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the microwave and beat the ingredients with a hand mixer until well combined.
- Microwave for an additional 30 seconds, then add peanut butter and mix by hand or with a mixer until thoroughly combined.
- Spread the mixture in a foil-lined 8×8 pan. Allow it to cool, then cut into delightful squares and indulge! Prepare for a unanimous chorus of love for this irresistible treat!
