Perfect Chicken Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of warm milk
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of instant yeast
- 3½ cups of all-purpose flour
- ½ tablespoon of salt
- 3 tablespoons of butter
Fillings:
- Chicken
- Diced onion
- Diced red bell pepper
- Chili pepper
- Vegetable oil
- Seasoning cubes
- Salt
- Ground pepper
- Garlic powder
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, egg, and instant yeast. Whisk together. Add salt and all-purpose flour. Mix with a spatula until a dough forms. Add butter and knead with your hands until well incorporated.
- Flour a clean surface and knead the dough until smooth. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Season the chicken with salt, seasoning cubes, onions, garlic powder, and ground pepper. Cook until done, then cut into smaller pieces.
- In a pan, heat vegetable oil and sauté onion, red bell pepper, seasoning cubes, salt, chili pepper, garlic powder, and chicken. Stir and let it simmer for 1 minute.
- Divide the dough into smaller portions and roll each into a flat shape.
- Place the fillings onto the dough and seal the edges to form a ball. Repeat for all portions of dough.
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper and place the filled dough balls on it. Cover and let them rise for 25 minutes.
- Brush the surface of the dough with egg wash (mixture of egg and milk or water).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
