Perfect Chicken Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of instant yeast
  • 3½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • ½ tablespoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of butter

Fillings:

  • Chicken
  • Diced onion
  • Diced red bell pepper
  • Chili pepper
  • Vegetable oil
  • Seasoning cubes
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper
  • Garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, egg, and instant yeast. Whisk together. Add salt and all-purpose flour. Mix with a spatula until a dough forms. Add butter and knead with your hands until well incorporated.
  2. Flour a clean surface and knead the dough until smooth. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
  3. Season the chicken with salt, seasoning cubes, onions, garlic powder, and ground pepper. Cook until done, then cut into smaller pieces.
  4. In a pan, heat vegetable oil and sauté onion, red bell pepper, seasoning cubes, salt, chili pepper, garlic powder, and chicken. Stir and let it simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Divide the dough into smaller portions and roll each into a flat shape.
  6. Place the fillings onto the dough and seal the edges to form a ball. Repeat for all portions of dough.
  7. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and place the filled dough balls on it. Cover and let them rise for 25 minutes.
  8. Brush the surface of the dough with egg wash (mixture of egg and milk or water).
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
