Pavé Dessert: An Oven-Free Delight
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of cornflour cookies
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 box of strawberries, washed and chopped
- 4 tablespoons of chocolate powder
- 1 envelope of unflavored gelatine powder
- 4 tablespoons of water
Directions:
- Begin by preparing the gelatine: In a bowl, combine the gelatine powder with water and microwave for approximately 15 seconds until fully dissolved. Set aside.
- In a blender, combine the condensed milk, heavy cream, milk, and chocolate powder until a smooth mixture is achieved.
- Add the dissolved gelatine to the mixture and blend again until well incorporated.
- In an ovenproof dish, create a layer of cornflour cookies lightly moistened with milk.
- Spread half of the chocolate mixture over the cookie layer.
- Create another layer of cookies and cover with the remaining chocolate cream mixture.
- Decorate the top with the chopped strawberries.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours until set.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
