Paula Deen’s Quick and Decadent 5-Minute Fudge
Ingredients:
- 1 2/3 cups white sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (6-ounce) package milk chocolate chips
- 16 large marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil, cooking for 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Add chocolate chips and continue cooking until melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows, vanilla, and nuts, ensuring thorough mixing.
- Pour the mixture into an 8-inch pan.
- Allow it to cool, then cut into squares for a delightful treat.
