Parmesan Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef mince
- 1 pound turkey mince
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian herbs
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the beef mince, turkey mince, Italian herbs, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, chopped onions, grated Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan.
- Evenly spread the marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.
- After 50 minutes, remove the meatloaf from the oven, sprinkle with the shredded mozzarella cheese, and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
