Old Fashioned Pancakes
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon of white sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups of milk
- Cooking spray
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Whisk in the milk, egg, and melted butter until well blended. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and coat it with cooking spray.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake into the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the edges and center, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
