Minced Meat Burrito

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 400 g minced beef
  • 2 tablespoons of Mexican meat seasoning or Mexican spices
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 salad tomato, diced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 fresh onion, finely chopped
  • 4 wheat tortillas for burritos
  • 8 slices of pickled jalapeno peppers
  • Fresh coriander leaves

Preparation:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and translucent.
  2. Add minced beef to the pan. Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  3. Sprinkle Mexican meat seasoning or spices over the beef. Season with salt. Stir well to coat the meat evenly and enhance its flavor.
  4. Prepare the garnish by combining diced tomato, sliced avocado, and finely chopped fresh onion.
  5. To assemble the burrito, place a portion of the cooked minced meat in the center of each wheat tortilla. Add slices of pickled jalapeno peppers and a few coriander leaves on top.
  6. Carefully roll the tortillas into tight burritos, ensuring the filling is securely enclosed. Cut the burritos in half if desired.
  7. Serve the burritos whole or halved, accompanied by the prepared garnish. Enjoy your flavorful minced meat burritos!
