- 2 tablespoons of almonds
Preparation Steps:
Dough Preparation:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla essence until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
- Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
Shaping the Cookies:
- Once the dough is ready, form small balls of dough with your hands.
- Gently flatten each ball to shape the cookies to your desired size and form. You can make them round, oblong, or use cookie cutters for interesting shapes.
Baking:
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
Preparing the Chocolate Coating:
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a bain-marie (double boiler) or a microwave-safe container.
- Once the chocolate is fully melted, stir in the chopped almonds, ensuring they are completely coated with chocolate.
Coating the Cookies:
- Dip each cooled cookie into the chocolate mixture, ensuring they are completely covered.
- Let any excess chocolate drip off before placing the cookies on parchment paper to set.
Final Step – Setting the Chocolate:
- Allow the cookies to rest at room temperature until the chocolate coating is completely set.
- This step may take some time, but it’s worth the wait to enjoy these delicious treats!
