  • 8 grams of baking powder
  • 120 milliliters of vegetable oil
  • Vanilla essence or vanillin
  • 200 grams of semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons of almonds

Preparation Steps:

Dough Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla essence until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  2. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

Shaping the Cookies:

  1. Once the dough is ready, form small balls of dough with your hands.
  2. Gently flatten each ball to shape the cookies to your desired size and form. You can make them round, oblong, or use cookie cutters for interesting shapes.

Baking:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
  4. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

Preparing the Chocolate Coating:

  1. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a bain-marie (double boiler) or a microwave-safe container.
  2. Once the chocolate is fully melted, stir in the chopped almonds, ensuring they are completely coated with chocolate.

Coating the Cookies:

  1. Dip each cooled cookie into the chocolate mixture, ensuring they are completely covered.
  2. Let any excess chocolate drip off before placing the cookies on parchment paper to set.

Final Step – Setting the Chocolate:

  1. Allow the cookies to rest at room temperature until the chocolate coating is completely set.
  2. This step may take some time, but it’s worth the wait to enjoy these delicious treats!

Enjoy your homemade chocolate-covered cookies!
