Indulgent Hot Fudge Brownie Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup hot fudge sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
- Gradually incorporate the flour mixture and buttermilk into the butter mixture, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter, then swirl it with a knife. Repeat this layering process with the remaining batter and hot fudge sauce.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
