Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 bags of white chocolate chips (two 225-gram bags)
  • 2 bags of mini marshmallows (two 250-gram bags)
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped red and green gumdrops (refer to notes below for purchasing information)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare an 8×8 square baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the gumdrops in half and set them aside.
  3. Melt the butter, white chocolate chips, and marshmallows together over indirect heat. Utilize a double boiler by
    placing a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water, ensuring a snug fit to prevent burning.
  4. Continuously stir the mixture until smooth and melted, being cautious not to overcook – the goal is to melt, not
    cook.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool for approximately 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in the halved gumdrops, ensuring thorough mixing.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Given its stickiness, use a lightly greased piece of parchment paper to
    spread and pat the mixture down.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting; overnight refrigeration yields the best results.
  9. Cut into 60 bite-sized pieces.
  10. When storing the candies, use parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking.
