Honey Garlic Crawfish Fries
Ingredients:
- 1 lb crawfish tails
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 12-ounce can evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded Muenster cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 30-32 oz frozen fries of choice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Crawfish:
- In a pan, melt butter and add crawfish tails.
- Cook until the crawfish tails are heated through.
Queso/Cheese sauce:
- In the same pan as the crawfish, pour in evaporated milk and heavy cream. Bring to a low simmer without boiling.
- Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning and onion powder.
- Add the shredded Muenster, Monterey Jack, and Mozzarella cheeses. Stir constantly until the cheese melts, and the sauce coats the spoon. Turn off the heat after 4 minutes of simmering.
- The sauce will thicken as it stands.
Assembly:
- Prepare the fries according to package instructions.
- Top the fries with the cooked crawfish, cheese sauce, and fresh parsley.
