Honey Butter Skillet Corn
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 (16 oz.) bag frozen corn
- 2 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter with honey. Stir occasionally until the butter is fully melted, about 5-8 minutes or until the corn is tender.
- Add the cream cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring regularly.
- Serve immediately. Leftovers can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for several days.
- This recipe yields approximately six servings as a side dish, or up to eight servings for younger children.
- Any variety of frozen corn can be used, but golden and white corn is recommended. Ensure that you use a 16-ounce (1 pound) bag of frozen corn.
