Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 tube crescent dough sheet
- 1 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon mustard (Dijon or whole grain)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent dough sheet and press it into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the prepared dish, repairing any tears as needed.
- Make the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with garlic powder, mustard, and onion powder (if using). Spread this mixture evenly over the crescent dough.
- Add the Ham: Evenly distribute the diced ham over the dough, covering the entire surface.
- Add the Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the ham layer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 17 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Cut into squares or rectangles.
- Garnish: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Enjoy your warm, savory, and cheesy crescent rolls casserole fresh from the oven!
