Grilled Shrimp with Garlic Marinade
Ingredients:
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1/3 cup of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 2 pounds of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

Directions:
- In a spacious bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, tomato sauce, and red wine vinegar. Season the mixture with basil, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl, ensuring even coating. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour, occasionally stirring.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, piercing once near the tail and once near the head. Discard the marinade.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until they become opaque.
