Indulge in the Savory Delight of Patty Melts with a Secret Twist

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Premium Ground Beef
  • 6 Slices of Authentic Rye Bread
  • ½ tsp. Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 6 Slices of Rich Cheddar Cheese
  • 6 Slices of Creamy Provolone Cheese
  • 6 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter, Softened

For the Secret Sauce:

  • ¼ cup Creamy Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. Finely Chopped Bacon Pieces
  • 3 Tbsp. Tangy Ketchup
  • 1 tsp. Refined Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Flavorful Relish

Instructions:

  1. Begin by shaping the ground beef into three evenly flattened patties, ensuring they match the size of the bread slices.
  2. Season the patties generously on both sides with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to elevate their flavor profile.
  3. Cook the seasoned patties over medium-high heat on a skillet until perfectly done. Once cooked, set them aside.
  4. While the patties are sizzling, prepare the secret sauce by thoroughly combining mayonnaise, chopped bacon pieces, ketchup, sugar, and relish until the flavors harmonize beautifully.
  5. After removing the patties from the skillet, wipe it clean and adjust the heat to medium.
  6. Generously spread softened butter on one side of each rye bread slice.
  7. Arrange three slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  8. Layer each bread slice with two slices of provolone cheese, followed by a mouthwatering meat patty and two slices of rich cheddar cheese.
  9. On the remaining bread slices, spread a dollop of the secret sauce on the non-buttered side, then place them sauce side down atop the assembled patties in the skillet.
