Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen meatballs, defrosted
- 1 jar marinara or spaghetti sauce
- 3 cups of water
- 1 box bowtie pasta
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine Ingredients: In a large, oven-proof pot or skillet, mix the defrosted meatballs, marinara or spaghetti sauce, water, pasta, and Italian seasoning.
- Initial Baking: Cover the pot or skillet and bake for 35 minutes.
- Add Cheese and Finish Baking: Remove the cover, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Rest Before Serving: Allow the casserole to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
