Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen meatballs, defrosted
  • 1 jar marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 box bowtie pasta
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large, oven-proof pot or skillet, mix the defrosted meatballs, marinara or spaghetti sauce, water, pasta, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Initial Baking: Cover the pot or skillet and bake for 35 minutes.
  4. Add Cheese and Finish Baking: Remove the cover, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  5. Rest Before Serving: Allow the casserole to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
