Deluxe Patty Melts with Signature Sauce

Deluxe Patty Melts with Signature Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 6 Slices of rye bread
  • ½ tsp. Onion powder
  • ½ tsp. Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 Slices of cheddar cheese
  • 6 Slices of provolone cheese
  • 6 tbsp. Unsalted butter, softened

For the Signature Sauce:

  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Chopped bacon pieces
  • 3 tbsp. Ketchup
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Relish

Instructions:

  1. Shape the ground beef into 3 flattened patties, ensuring they match the size of the bread slices.
  2. Season the patties on both sides with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook the patties on medium-high heat until fully cooked. Remove them from the pan.
  4. Meanwhile, combine the ingredients for the signature sauce until well mixed.
  5. Wipe the skillet used for cooking the patties and reduce the heat to medium.
  6. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice generously.
  7. Place three bread slices, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  8. Top each bread slice with 2 slices of provolone cheese, a cooked patty, and 2 slices of cheddar cheese.
  9. Spread a small amount of signature sauce on the non-buttered side of the remaining bread slices and place them sauce side down on top of the assembled patties in the skillet.
  10. Flip the patty melts over once the provolone cheese has melted and the bottom of the bread is toasted.
  11. Toast the other side of the bread until golden brown.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy the flavorful deluxe patty melts with signature sauce.
