Deluxe Deviled Eggs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 Eggs
- 6 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Mustard Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 stalks Chives
- 2 tablespoons Paprika Powder
- Pinch of Pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Begin by placing the eggs in a saucepan filled with enough water to cover them. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then let the eggs cook for 10 minutes.
- Once the eggs are cooked, remove them from the heat and allow them to sit in the hot water for an additional 5 minutes.
- While the eggs are resting, prepare a bowl filled with ice and water.
- After 5 minutes, carefully transfer the eggs from the hot water to the ice water bath. Let them cool for another 5 minutes. This helps in easy removal of the shells.
- Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place the egg whites on a serving platter, resembling canoes.
- In a separate bowl, mash the egg yolks with a fork. Add in the mustard sauce, mayonnaise, hot sauce, pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Fill each egg white half with the prepared yolk mixture, distributing evenly.
- Wash and finely chop the chives.
- Sprinkle paprika powder and chopped chives over the stuffed eggs for garnish.
- Refrigerate the deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy them cold as a delightful appetizer or snack.
