Deluxe Deviled Eggs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 Eggs
  • 6 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 stalks Chives
  • 2 tablespoons Paprika Powder
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by placing the eggs in a saucepan filled with enough water to cover them. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then let the eggs cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Once the eggs are cooked, remove them from the heat and allow them to sit in the hot water for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. While the eggs are resting, prepare a bowl filled with ice and water.
  4. After 5 minutes, carefully transfer the eggs from the hot water to the ice water bath. Let them cool for another 5 minutes. This helps in easy removal of the shells.
  5. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place the egg whites on a serving platter, resembling canoes.
  6. In a separate bowl, mash the egg yolks with a fork. Add in the mustard sauce, mayonnaise, hot sauce, pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  7. Fill each egg white half with the prepared yolk mixture, distributing evenly.
  8. Wash and finely chop the chives.
  9. Sprinkle paprika powder and chopped chives over the stuffed eggs for garnish.
  10. Refrigerate the deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy them cold as a delightful appetizer or snack.
