Delicious Fresh Apple Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup of vegetable oil
- 2 cups of peeled and chopped apples
- ½ cup of chopped walnuts
- ½ cup of raisins
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®).
- In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix together the sugar, egg, and oil. Stir in the flour mixture until just combined; then fold in the apples, walnuts, and raisins.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
Cook’s Note: Feel free to substitute dates for raisins and use your favorite type of chopped nuts for added variation. Enjoy!
