Decadent Chocolate Cotton Cake 😋
Ingredients:
- 80ml milk
- 60ml vegetable oil
- 70g all-purpose flour
- 10g cocoa powder
- 4 egg whites
- 4 egg yolks
- 70g sugar
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Chocolate chips
Preparation:
- In a mixing bowl, combine milk, vegetable oil, flour, and egg yolks. Divide the mixture into two portions, and add cocoa powder to one portion.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites with salt, lemon juice, and sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Divide the beaten egg whites equally into two portions.
- Transfer the cocoa mixture and the plain mixture into separate bowls.
- Spread the cocoa mixture evenly onto a baking sheet, then cover it with the plain mixture.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the batter.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for approximately 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
