Crock Pot Cube Steak Recipe – Incredibly Delicious!
Ingredients:
- 6 cube steaks
- 1 medium onion, peeled and sliced into rings
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1/2 soup can of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Peel and slice the medium onion into rings.
- Season each cube steak with salt and pepper.
- Place 2 cube steaks at the bottom of your crock-pot.
- Layer the steaks with onion rings, repeating until all steaks are used. This layering helps prevent the steaks from sticking together.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, and water.
- Pour the soup mixture over the layered steaks and onions.
- Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top.
- Cover the crock-pot and set it to low. Let it cook for 6-7 hours.
As the meal cooks, your kitchen will be filled with a mouth-watering aroma. After 6-7 hours, you’ll have a savory dinner ready to enjoy. Serve the cube steaks with mashed potatoes to savor the delicious gravy, along with a side salad or green vegetables.
Note: If you prefer, you can substitute the cream of chicken or celery soup with cream of mushroom soup. However, I personally prefer the combination listed above.
