Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Thighs Recipe
Chicken thighs are a hit in for 20 minutes but I put them back for additional 2 more minutes on 360 I coated them with Italian bread crumbs … honey.. salt.. pepper… paprika & garlic powder sprayed the basket and top of the chicken with olive oil.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Olive oil spray
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit (182 degrees Celsius).
- In a shallow dish, combine Italian breadcrumbs, honey, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients evenly.
- Pat dry the chicken thighs with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
- Coat each chicken thigh generously with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the surface.
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
- Carefully place the coated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Lightly spray the top of the chicken thighs with olive oil spray to help them crisp up.
- Cook the chicken thighs in the air fryer for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
- After 20 minutes, check the internal temperature of the chicken thighs using a meat thermometer. They should register at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) to ensure they are fully cooked.
- If needed, continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes or until the desired internal temperature is reached.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the deliciously crispy and flavorful chicken thighs hot with your favorite side dishes or enjoy them on their own. Enjoy your meal!
