Creamy Garlic Coconut Shrimp Delight

Ingredients:

  • 500g peeled shrimp or shrimp tails
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 large tablespoon of butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 dried chili peppers, seeds removed (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (adjust to taste)
  • 250ml coconut milk

Preparation:

  1. If needed, peel, clean, and drain the shrimp. Place them in a salad bowl, add pressed garlic, sprinkle
    with lemon juice, mix well, and let it marinate for about 1 hour.
  2. Peel and finely chop the onion.
  3. In a pan, melt the butter, add the onions, and sauté until golden without browning.
  4. Add the marinated shrimp, sauté for 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Introduce small chili peppers, pour in the coconut milk, season with chili powder and a pinch of salt.
    Stir well.
  6. Add chopped parsley and cilantro, and let it simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens.
