Ingredients:
- 500g peeled shrimp or shrimp tails
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, pressed
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 large tablespoon of butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 dried chili peppers, seeds removed (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (adjust to taste)
- 250ml coconut milk
Preparation:
- If needed, peel, clean, and drain the shrimp. Place them in a salad bowl, add pressed garlic, sprinkle
with lemon juice, mix well, and let it marinate for about 1 hour. - Peel and finely chop the onion.
- In a pan, melt the butter, add the onions, and sauté until golden without browning.
- Add the marinated shrimp, sauté for 2 minutes on each side.
- Introduce small chili peppers, pour in the coconut milk, season with chili powder and a pinch of salt.
Stir well. - Add chopped parsley and cilantro, and let it simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens.
