Creamy Baked Spaghetti with Cheese
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of lean ground beef
- 16 ounces of spaghetti pasta
- 28 ounces of pasta sauce
- 8 ounces of cream cheese
- 1 pinch of garlic salt
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Step 1: Preparing the Pasta
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.
Step 2: Cooking the Ground Beef
- In a skillet, brown the lean ground beef over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat from the cooked beef.
Step 3: Mixing the Sauce
- Add the pasta sauce to the cooked ground beef and stir to combine.
Step 4: Preparing the Creamy Mixture
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, cream cheese, garlic salt, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the spaghetti is evenly coated and the cream cheese is melted.
Step 5: Assembling the Dish
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a casserole dish.
- Arrange the spaghetti noodles on top of the sauce.
Step 6: Adding Layers
- Spoon the remaining meat sauce over the spaghetti.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the meat sauce.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Step 7: Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
