Chocolate Graham Cracker Cake Delight

Ingredients:
- For the Cake:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 TBSP baking powder
- 3 TBSP cocoa
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- For the Chocolate Sauce:
- 1 cup Whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 4 ounces Bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Cream butter and add sugar and egg yolks, mixing until well combined.
- Add graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, cocoa, salt, milk, vanilla extract, and nuts; mix well.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
- Pour batter into two greased and floured 9-inch round pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool slightly, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the Chocolate Sauce:
- Combine the cream and sugar in a small saucepan and heat to a boil.
- Pour the hot mixture over the chocolate and butter in a medium bowl.
- Stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Strain through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a serving bowl.
