Chili Cheese Dog Bake Dinner
Ingredients:
- 1 can (14 to 15 oz) of heated chili
- 1 refrigerated classic pizza crust (Pillsbury™)
- 4 Cheddar cheese sticks
- 4 all-beef hot dogs
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch square or 11×7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Spread the heated chili evenly in the dish.
- Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 4 strips. Halve one cheese stick lengthwise and place one half on each side of a hot dog. Wrap a pizza dough strip around the cheese and hot dog, ensuring a slight overlap in the center. Repeat the process with the remaining dough strips, cheese sticks, and hot dogs.
- Arrange the wrapped hot dogs on top of the hot chili. Ensure the chili remains hot.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the dough achieves a light golden brown color.
- Meanwhile, in a small microwavable cup, melt the butter on high. Stir in garlic powder and parsley.
- Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and brush the butter mixture on top of each cheese dog. Serve immediately.
