Cheesy Stuffed Pasta Shells
Ingredients:
- Jumbo pasta shells, boiled until al dente
- Spaghetti sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Garlic, minced
Preparation:
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, basil, thyme, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- Fill each boiled pasta shell with the cheese mixture and arrange them in a skillet with spaghetti sauce spooned over them. Top with additional mozzarella cheese using an ice cream scoop or spoon.
- Cover the skillet with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
