Butterfinger Delights

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of finely crushed Butterfinger candy bars (approximately 16 fun-sized bars)
  • 1 (8 oz.) package of softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening (optional, for a smoother coating)
  • Optional: Butterfinger or chocolate sprinkles for decoration

Instructions:

Prepare the Butterfinger Mixture:

In a spacious mixing bowl, blend the crushed Butterfinger candy bars with the softened cream cheese until
thoroughly combined. Crush the candy bars in a food processor or in a sealed plastic bag using a rolling
pin.

Shape into Balls:

Roll the mixture into small balls, around 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a wax paper-lined baking
sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes to facilitate the chocolate-dipping process.

Melt Chocolate:

Microwave the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval
until smooth. Optionally, add a tablespoon of vegetable shortening to ensure a smoother coating.

Dip the Balls:

Using a fork or toothpick, dip each chilled Butterfinger ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring even coating.
Allow excess chocolate to drip off.

Decorate (Optional):

While the chocolate is still wet, adorn the Butterfinger Balls with additional crushed Butterfinger candy or
chocolate sprinkles if desired.

Set on Wax Paper:

Place the coated Butterfinger Balls back on the wax paper-lined baking sheet.

Chill Again:

Return the baking sheet to the refrigerator, letting the chocolate coating harden for at least 1 hour.

Serve:

Once the chocolate has solidified, your Butterfinger Delights are ready to be served. Indulge in these
