Ingredients:

  • 2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Pepperjack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 4 to 8 slices of bacon

Directions:

  1. Begin by cutting the chicken into four equal-sized pieces, then gently pound the breasts to achieve a thickness of approximately 1/4″.
  2. Combine softened cream cheese with chopped green onions and shredded Pepperjack cheese. Distribute 1/4 of this mixture into the center of each chicken piece.
  3. Roll each chicken breast from the long side, ensuring the cheese mixture remains centered.
  4. Wrap 1 to 2 slices of bacon around each chicken breast, securing them with toothpicks if necessary. Opting for a single bacon piece per breast suffices, but using two results in a fully enveloped and outstanding dish.
  5. Place the prepared chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees F.
  6. For a perfectly browned and crispy bacon exterior, broil the topside for about 5 minutes. Flip each breast and broil for an additional 3 minutes to crisp up the bottom side.

Experience the delight of Bacon-Wrapped Cream Cheese-Stuffed Chicken Breast – a culinary masterpiece that brings together the succulence of chicken strips and the savory allure of bacon.
