Icing:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
-
Prepare the Work Area:
Place cooling racks on baking sheets lined with wax paper. Set aside.
-
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well.

Combine Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and applesauce until thoroughly blended.
-
Incorporate Apples:
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.

Glaze the Fritters:
While the fritters are still warm, dip them in the icing, ensuring they are well-coated. Allow the glaze to set on the cooling racks.
-
Serve and Enjoy:
Once the glaze has set, your apple fritters are ready to be enjoyed. Serve warm for the best experience.
