Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts (approximately 1 lb. or 450g)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Slice each chicken breast into three equal pieces.
  2. Marinate: Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and refrigerate overnight to marinate.
  3. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Mix Coating: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), half of the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  5. Arrange Chicken: Evenly distribute the marinated chicken pieces in a baking dish.
  6. Coat Chicken: Spread the mayonnaise mixture over each piece of chicken, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  7. Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top of the coated chicken breasts.
  8. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  9. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately to your eagerly awaiting guests or family members.
