Succulent Garlic Butter Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium-sized heritage breed pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons grass-fed butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 sprigs thyme
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper to your liking.
  3. In a microwave or small saucepan, melt the butter. Adjust quantity to preference.
  4. Mix the minced garlic and thyme into the melted butter, stirring well. Set aside.
  5. Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops and sear for approximately 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the pork chops, ensuring even coverage.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake the pork chops until the internal temperature reaches 145 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
  8. Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven and spoon any remaining butter sauce over the pork chops.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious flavors!
