Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. of lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • A dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (a blend of 3/4 cheddar and 1/4 mozzarella)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick mix
  • 2 eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch pie plate with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion for about 10 minutes or until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in seasoned salt, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce, then spread the mixture evenly in the pie plate.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef mixture.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and Bisquick mix until smooth, ensuring to eliminate any lumps. Pour the mixture over the meat and cheese in the pie plate.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Enjoy this savory Cheeseburger Pie, serving 4-5 hungry individuals.
