Ingredients:

  • 3 to 4 Sweet Vidalia onions
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • 1 cup Italian blend cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded

How To Make Tennessee Onions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  3. Slice the Vidalia onions into ¼ inch rounds and separate the rings.
  4. Spread the onion rings evenly into the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the onion rings with garlic powder, salt, and oregano.
  6. Slice the butter into 8 pieces and evenly distribute them over the onions and spices.
  7. Sprinkle the Italian blend cheese and Cheddar cheese over the entire top.
  8. Finish by sprinkling Parmesan cheese.
  9. Place in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the cheese starts to bubble and brown.
